STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP) 

  1. Student Registration
    • All students must register with CAPC at the beginning of the academic year.
    • Registration forms can be obtained from the CAPC office or downloaded from the college website.
    • Registered students will receive regular updates on CAPC activities and job/internship opportunities.
  2. Resume Building and Review
    • Schedule an appointment with a CAPC advisor for personalized resume building assistance.
    • Submit your resume draft to the CAPC office for review.
    • Attend follow-up sessions for feedback and finalization of the resume.
  3. Interview Preparation
    • Sign up for mock interview sessions through the CAPC office.
    • Participate in interview workshops to learn best practices and common questions.
    • Receive individualized feedback and tips for improvement after each mock interview.
  4. Career Guidance Classes
    • Regularly scheduled classes will be held to discuss various aspects of career planning.
    • Topics will include industry insights, job market trends, and effective job search strategies.
    • Attendance is encouraged for all students to stay informed about the latest developments.
  5. Personality Development Workshops
    • Workshops will be organized periodically to help students develop key soft skills.
    • Activities will include public speaking, leadership exercises, and teamwork simulations.
    • Participation in these workshops will be recorded and can be included in the student’s portfolio.
  6. Job and Internship Listings
    • CAPC will maintain an up-to-date database of job and internship opportunities.
    • Students can access this database through the CAPC office or the college website.
    • Regular newsletters and emails will be sent to registered students with new listings.
  7. Networking Opportunities
    • CAPC will organize networking events, including career fairs and alumni meet-ups.
    • Students are encouraged to participate and make connections with professionals in their field.
    • CAPC will facilitate mentorship programs linking students with industry experts and alumni.
  8. Feedback and Continuous Improvement
    • CAPC will collect feedback from students after each session or event.
    • Regular surveys will be conducted to assess the effectiveness of CAPC services.
